Magdalene House Receives $500 Grant to Stock Resident Pantry

Executive Director Tavia Harrell recently accepted a $500 grant from Brookshire’s Store Manager John Tomanio and the Brookshire’s Community Foundation to help stock our organization’s pantry.

The pantry provides residents with free access to non-perishable food items, cleaning supplies, laundry products, hygiene essentials, and paper goods. These resources help women in the Magdalene House program meet basic needs while focusing on recovery, employment, education, and personal growth.

By helping offset everyday expenses, the pantry also allows residents to contribute more toward Magdalene House’s matched savings program, which encourages financial responsibility and helps participants work toward long-term independence.

Individuals, churches, civic groups, and businesses interested in supporting our pantry are encouraged to contact Tavia Harrell at 870-310-3868 to learn more about current needs and donation opportunities.
